Mountain Home Pole Barn Contractor and Businessman Scott Callies ( 36)  is being held at the Baxter County Detention Centre following his arrest. Mr Callies is expected to be charged with several felony counts of theft for allegedly fraudulent business practices.

According to Sherriff John Montgomery the arrest was the culmination five months of investigation by Sheriff’s Sgt. Bob Buschbacher.

According to Sherriffs Sargent Bob Buschbacher’s the investigation involved a great deal of time spent in the examination of business records, bank accounts and interviews with victims and potential witnesses. “Throughout the investigation, there was never any attempt made by the Mr Callies to fulfill the contractual obligations or to refund any money to any of the customers.”
